BSF Convention Volunteers Information
We are looking for enthusiastic and hard-working volunteers who want to have fun and meet new club members, vendors from around the state, or work alongside our headliner artists. This is a great opportunity to gather so much information.
Volunteers are expected to commit a minimum of 2 hours to support the BSF convention. For every 2 hours contributed, volunteers will receive a waiver of taxes and resort fees for one room night at the Florida Hotel (saving $69 resort fee and $17 taxes per night for a total of $86 per night).
To qualify, volunteer for 2 hours per reservation night and the convention committee will reserve your rooms based on your preferences. Sign up on the volunteer form, and you will be directed to the shopping page to purchase the nights you need. You will pay for your room at the time of volunteer enrollment.
Volunteer Signups Start March 9th
There’s plenty to do:
- Setup and Pack up
- Registration and Greeting
- Exhibit, Workshop, and Demonstration Monitor
- BSF Vendor table assistance
Note that all volunteer hours are tracked by time spent and which club you represent. The percentage of convention profits dedicated to volunteer hours is then calculated and dispersed according to your club volunteer hours.
Call for Convention Volunteers!
Create connections during the BSF Convention by serving as a convention volunteer! Welcome new members, reconnect with colleagues, and network with other convention attendees, artists, and vendors, while giving back to BSF and contributing to the success of our annual convention. Volunteers are needed to help with Demos, Workshops, and assist with Conference Registration.
Demo / Workshop Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to ensure that all demo and workshop rooms are ready prior to their scheduled start times. Volunteers will assist with making sure that the rooms have the proper materials (trees), empty trash cans, and enough wire. Workshop volunteers will be responsible for announcing the order for picking trees.
Convention Registration Volunteers
Welcome convention attendees to Orlando, and the BSF Convention as a Convention Registration volunteer! Convention Registration volunteers assist with check-in, distribute materials and answer questions while providing excellent customer service to convention attendees.
Setup Volunteers
Setup volunteers will assist on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning with the setup of both workshop rooms, the demo room, and the vendor area. There is also a need on Monday morning for breakdown.
