BSF 2026 “It’s a small (bonsai) world” Criteria and Guidelines
The concept for the BSF 2026 convention will focus on the word “small”. This year’s event celebrates the smallest marvels of bonsai—Mame, Shohin, and Chuhin—demonstrating just how impressive these miniature trees can be.
While all styles and sizes are welcome, this year we have a special emphasis on displaying smaller bonsai to highlight their delicate charm.
Exhibitors are encouraged to present their trees in a manner that reflects personal artistic expression. Whether simple or formal, each display contributes to the shared learning and inspiration of our bonsai community.
