BONSAI SOCIETY ANNOUNCES APRIL PROGRAM AND MAY AUCTION AND PICNIC

 

The Bonsai Society of Southwest Florida, Inc.will meet at 9AM on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Wigert’s Bonsai Nursery, 2930 South Road, in North Fort Myers. Ed Trout will demonstrate styling a buttonwood tree. Admission to the demonstration, which includes a raffle ticket on the resulting tree, will be $10. On Saturday, May 18, 2013, The Bonsai Society will hold its annual Picnic and Auction at the Lee County Garden Council Center, 2166 Virginia Ave. in Fort Myers (located one block east of the Edison Laboratory grounds.) Sidewalk sales and viewing of auction items will begin at 10 AM. The auction of trees and related materials will begin at 11 AM, and will be followed by a lunch buffet and picnic.There is no admission fee, and parking and the buffet lunch are free.For further information about the Picnic and Auction, call Greg Lignelli at 239-560-3275.
